IF you do nothing else in 2016 to improve the appearance of your skin, DO establish a daily skin care regimen! Cleanse your face EVERY morning and EVERY night.
Select a cleanser specific to your skin type – dry, oily, combination or acne prone.
TIP– Wash your face as soon as you get home. Just as you’re dying to remove your constricting work clothes and put on a comfy pair of pjs, your skin is dying to remove the grime, pollution and sweat that it’s accumulated over the day. Cleaning your face as soon as you get home, will provide your skin the benefit of additional hours where it’s cleansed, treated and moisturized.
Apply specialty products as directed.
Specialty products (retinols, serums, eye repair, and skin brightening creams) address specific skin concerns such as wrinkles, discoloration or acne.
Sunscreen – EVERY morning.
You can prevent unnecessary wrinkles and splotchy, uneven skin by protecting yourself from the sun’s harmful UVA (causes the skin to age) and UVB (causes the skin to turn red and burn after skin exposure) rays with sunscreen.
FYI – 90% of premature aging is caused by sun exposure, applying a daily sunscreenis the single most important thing you can do to keep skin looking its best!
Moisturize EVERY morning and EVERY night.
Do not starve your face of moisture, hydration is the building block of any healthy skin care routine. In the morning, (we strongly recommend) applying a moisturizer that contains broad spectrum sunscreen. At night, apply a nourishing moisturizing cream appropriate to your skin type.
